Hello, I'm The Space Dance & Arts Centre.

The Space Dance and Arts Centre is an exciting dance and arts centre featuring a variety of dance and rehearsal studios, theatre and performance spaces, meeting room, gallery space and lounge area; including our SkyDeck, a 200 seat fully fitted theatre and event space with a full sound and lighting rig! The Space has a huge range of dance classes catering from beginner dancers just starting out on their dance journey to advanced professional dancers honing their skills and keeping show fit. With over 80 Adult Casual Dance Classes per week, regular workshops and Performance Courses, there is sure to be a class for you. We also run our hugely popular Kids, Teens, Youth program for younger dancers from ages 2 – 18. Classes include Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Acro, KPop, Breakdance and more! The Space Dance and Arts Centre is located on Chapel Street in the very heart of Prahran; opposite Pran Central. (Entrance in Carlton St). Conveniently close to coffee shops, Prahran Market and 3 major supermarkets, restaurants, parking, Chapel off Chapel and right in the heart of Melbourne’s shopping district.
