Held in a relaxed indoor and outdoor space, Holiday Art Club offers young artists the opportunity to explore creativity, self-expression, and imagination in a fun, supportive environment. The focus is on the process of art-making, encouraging a therapeutic flow that enhances both creativity and well-being. There's a balance of support, examples and guidance with space to for children to explore, experiment and create they way the want to. Max group size is 11 children. Here is our Holiday Art Program: $50 per session OR $100 for the whole day with free lunch time care THURSDAY 9TH APRIL 9.30AM to 12PM PAINT LIKE PICASSO ***FULLY BOOKED*** Explore the Art of Picasso and the Cubist style. Children will have fun drawing faces, animals and objects in this iconic style. Young Artists will then have the opportunity to create a Cubist style painting on canvas to take home. 12.45PM TO 3PM CLAY COLLAGE IN A FRAME ****FULLY BOOKED**** Young artists are invited to use the ever popular colourful super clay to create a 3D collage in a timber frame to take home. Young artists will have the opportunity to practice techniques to create texture, shape and form with tools and hand building. THURSDAY 16TH APRIL 9.30AM TO 12PM CREATURE COLLAGE AND MORE....****FULLY BOOKED **** Young Artists are invited to use a range of collage papers and magazine pages to create a Collage. We will also explore tone and texture to illustrate animal details such as fur, eyes and nose to complete the art work. Young Artists may also like to create a layered collage inspired by the seasons or something they are keenly interested in. 12.45PM TO 3PM ART MEETS SCIENCE ****FULLY BOOKED **** Children are invited to explore Art and Science through several investigations including Blooming Flowers, Moving Pictures and exploring reaction and change through mixtures and potions. What to bring: Water bottle Nut free snack (and lunch if staying all day) All materials and equipment is provided Drop off is at 9.30am for morning sessions and all day bookings. Drop off is at 12.45pm for afternoon sessions. Pick up is at 12pm for morning sessions and by 3pm for afternoon sessions and all day bookings.
