Location: Brighton Primary School ＞＞Tiny Artists Holiday Art Classes – Program Overview＜＜ Each day of our holiday program features a different creative art project, giving young artists the chance to explore new techniques, materials and ideas. Children will complete one finished artwork per session that they can proudly take home. Our classes focus on creativity, experimentation and building confidence through art in a relaxed and supportive environment. --- 🎨Holiday Projects **1st Project – Delft Vase & Blue Wren** Kids will paint a beautiful blue-and-white Delft-inspired floral vase, then add a cheeky Blue Wren perched on top. Students will explore delicate patterns, fine brushwork and decorative floral design with a touch of Aussie charm. --- **2nd Project – Year of the Horse** In this bold and energetic project, young artists will sketch a majestic white horse set against a vibrant red background inspired by the Chinese zodiac. Students will explore movement, strong lines and contrast while capturing flowing manes and powerful shapes. --- **3rd Project – Negative Painting** A clever twist on traditional painting. Students will begin with a vibrant textured background full of colour, then draw leafy shapes and paint around them in bold black. The magic of this technique is that the leaves appear through the areas we don’t paint, creating a striking, high-contrast artwork. --- **4th Project – 3D Calathea Vase** In this fun mixed-media project, children will paint and cut patterned Calathea leaves, design their own paper vase, and build a colourful background. The vase will then be layered and glued so the leaves pop forward in full 3D, creating a vibrant leafy composition. --- **5th Project – Big Blue Whale** A gigantic blue whale bursts from the ocean like a splashy superhero, aiming to gobble up a tiny pirate ship. This imaginative project explores scale, storytelling and mixed media, using charcoal, paint and collage techniques. --- **6th Project – Chureito Pagoda & Mount Fuji** Young artists will paint Mount Fuji with the iconic Chureito Pagoda in the foreground, surrounded by soft pink cherry blossoms. This peaceful landscape project explores colour, composition and creating atmosphere inspired by Japanese scenery. --- 🧃What to Bring - Drink bottle - Lunch Fresh fruit will be provided during the class. --- 🎨What’s Included All art materials and tools are supplied. Children will leave each session with their completed artwork to take home.
